Base or Foot mounted configuration.
Recent complete tear down with sandblast of case inside/outisde
New paint, new bearings, new seals, new stainless steel bolts. new copper selaing washers
new seals, new gaskets, new oil cap, new stickers, new motor bearings, new oil. Fully tested to operating temperature in shop. Excellent worm gears.

Following deficiencies noted on this unit:
1) Small chip out of pinion gear, makes gear train a little noisy but does not affect operation
2) Bottom of cat head raised from gearbox about 1/2" so I had a machine shop make a ring to close the gap, which is welded to bottom of head. Bottom of cathead "wobbles" a little, almost un-noticable, but due to bell of bottom of cathead not centered when welded to body of cathead. Top and center of drum do not wobble at all, turns very nice.
3) Small rust pits at base mounts (in the corners)
4) Motor housing has base mount attached which is not usual or needed.
