Made in USA by Monark Boats Inc. (Seaark) in Monticello, AR under Navy Contract 85-C-2122 for $558,465 (1985 dollars)

The contract was for 6 each boats, so from the hull number, I guess this was the 5th 42 footer built off the 1985 contract.

Twin 8V71 TI Detroit Diesel engines with Twin Disc MG514C (2:1) gears (400 HP each)

Has Lifting eyes for 2" shackles, D-section rubber bumper, fantail, davit, and tow bit.

Size 42'L x 14' 8"W x 14' 5" top of cabin to bottom of keel.

Dry weight 35,600 pounds.

This boat was in service in Keyport, Bangor and Silverdale, Washington

Recent complete exterior sand blast to bare aluminum, from the keel to the tip of the removable mast.

Wheels rebuilt (30" x 28" 4 blade), new magnesium anodes(4), used Zinc anodes (4), eight new batteries, two rebuilt Jabsco cooling pumps, two new one wire alternators, one new starter, new fuel filters, new injectors, new oil and filters in engines and clutches, some new oil lines and fuel lines, new exhaust riser, new baskets in strainers, bilges cleaned, drained and cleaned fuel tanks and new roof top A/C.

Both engines running well, start on demand. Launched and sea trailed to 24 mph. Will do 26 or better with throttle adjustments.

No electronics, wiring needed to cabin lights and to dashboard.

Huge hatches would allow for easy engine removal.

Two large fuel tanks, one is in the rudder compartment and one is under the main salon. Water tank forward.

Piped in all stainless and bronze, numerous water-tight bulkheads and incredibly beefy engine mounts / stringers. Compare the framing in this boat to the other ones you are looking at before you buy!!!!

The boat floats (light, with 60 gallons of fuel in stern tank) at the chines with 45" of freeboard (to the deck).
