Frame 5N, double drum winch / hoist.

Onan Diesel powered, air cooled, 15 HP with Twin Disc PTO over-center clutch, multiple speed configurations through double four speed transmissions and chain box reductions.

Rated line pulls up to 16,000 pounds single line pull (SLP), higher than rated stall pulls (approx 30,000).

Line speeds up to 88 feet per minute.

Large warping head can be removed, (bolts on/off).

Base plates welded to skid for mounting anywhere.

Fuel tank cleaned, hot battery on board, turn key rig, fully operational and job ready. Fresh fuel, oil, filter, breather, gear oil, chain oil and grease. Battery is hot, alternator on engine works, no raditor or winterizing needed (air cooled), no exhaust smoke or weird noise, runs good.

This is a very nice winch. There is none of the usual rust. The pan under the front drum is like new and the winch frame is like new also.

Frictions and brake bands all re-lined 11/19/11. All adjusted and line pull tested with a dynomometer, pulls very good, in highest available gear range it gave over 10,000 pounds lifting the back of the winch up, and continuously gave 7500 pounds of pull at 20 drum revolutions per minute (66 feet) without overloading the engine. This unit has about 17 other lower gear ranges, so maximum line pull will be quite a bit higher than rated 16,000.

Spool barrel is 12" diameter, drum face is 16" between flanges, exposed flanges are 8", flange is 28".

Each drum will spool:
2398 feet of 1/2" or
1920 feet of 9/16ths or
1573 feet of 5/8" or
1109 feet of 3/4"
