Car Puller / Vertical Deck Capstan

5 hp motor is 220 Volt only (3 phase)

Older unit has been disassembled cleaned and painted, inside is white, outside is gray.

Some new bearings, vertical shaft has bronze bushings which are fine.

Motor has been rebuilt, cleaned, baked and dipped with new bearings.

Totally enclosed, non-ventilated motor.

Some welding build-up of the lower half of the cathead.

Rotation of head is as indicated only.

Gears in fair to good condition.

Will pull about 2500 pounds running.

No factory tags

Damage to center of worm shaft end cover (cast piece, marked "Link Belt" ) has been previously braze welded (on the inside) and does not leak, see photo.
